The analysis of the design of new model of forage trailer has pointed out that the design possesses many new constructional features and therefore it would be fully competitive in comparision with the similar products of other firms on the market of agricultural machines. The field tests of the prototype of new forage trailer have shown however some faults in the design which have been discussed in the paper and the indications how to eliminate them have also there been given
