Conditions of production, purchase and collection of milk as the criteria of dairy industry development in Poland

Factors affecting the level and quality of milk production in Poland were discussed. Paper emphasized the necessity of new milk purchase and collection system based on the EU quality standards for raw milk. It was suggested to establish a number of independent laboratories to controlling technical state of the milking equipment. The laboratories could also function as the units of advisory service for dairy farmers in respect of technical investment in raising dairy cattle
