Quantitative analysis of the species composition, dominance and species diversity of two groups of Vertebrates (Aves, Mammalia) an their ectoparasites (Siphonaptera) along vertical gradient of forest geobiocenoses in the Eastern Carpathians were investigated. There were documented totally 704 species of vertebrates and ectoparasites of small mammals from 5 taxonomical groups. The highest degree of species diversity, eveness of synusia examined were stated in forest geobiocenoses Alneta incanae inferiora and Salici fragilis -alneta superiora. Medium values were calculated for forest stands Abieti - fageta typica, Fageta tiliae - aceris and Aceri - fageta inferiora. The lowest values of diversity were stated in pure beech stands Fageta paupera (typica) and Fageta typica
