New approaches in the interpration of bonitation information system

The possibility of the Bonification Information System through the GIS ARC INFO was tested on the example of Vychodoslovenska Lowland. It is obvious that this system has been showing differences not only in the land culture acreages, also in total acreage, when compared to official total acreage. With regard to mentioned, the bacground mapping elaborates that were a base for the Bonited Pedo-ecological Units (BPEJ), should be actualized, planimetry exacted and contents of existing bonitation physical maps as well as vectorized ones. In spite of mentioned reality present Bonitation Information System can be fully used at arbitary territory analyses, where are BPEJ data known. The BPEJ codes solution and GIS use for the conditions of Vychodoslovenska Lowland enabled us quantification of soil characteristic categories - climatic regions, main soil sloping, stoniness, texture and soil price, all data were interpreted graphically
