The effect of feed mixture with amaranthus on eggs quality of japanese quail

Group feeding trials were done on the japanese quails in experimental and control groups. In every group were 20 japanese quails. In the control group was used commercial feed mixture for laying hens and in experimental group was used the feed mixture differ in 5% of Amaranthus hypochondriacus content. The results of the trials showed in comparison with the control group almost equal values of japanese quails live weight, feed mixture and water consumption, eggs weight, yolk weight, albumen weight, egg shell weight and their share from egg weight. In trial group was statistically significant (P less than 0.05) decrease cholesterol content in egg yolk
