Cell suspension cultures of cucumber (Cucumis salivus L.) were permeabilized with Tween 80 and immobilized with glutaraldehyde. The activity pH optimum of L-arginine aminopeptidase (L-Arg-AP) and L-proline iminopeptidase (L-Pro-IP) in native and immobilized cells is 7.6 and 7.4, respectively. In the cells immobilized with glutaraldehyde the activity of the enzymes is very low in compare with native cells. Alginate jelly was applied succesfully at aminopeptidase immobilization of cucumber cells
