Study on yield and agronomic characteristics of American soybean cultivars was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture Bangpra, Rajamangala Institute of Technology Siracha Chon Buri during July 2 to November 1,1993. Nine American soybean cultivars and five Thai's standard soybean cultivar have been planted for a comparison in agronomic characteristics and seed yield. The statistical analysis was RCBD with 14 treatments and 4 replications. The result indicated that plant height, number of pods per plant, number of pods per raceme, number of seeds per pod, seed weight per plant, 100 seed weight and seed yield per rai were significantly difference among each cultivar. Sukhothai 1 had the highest plant height. D834083 exhibited the highest number of pod per plant but it is not significantly different from Chiangmai 60. Bragg exhibited the best of pod per raceme.
