In this study 1000 lymph nodes were examined to determine microbiological pathogens inducing abscesses. The study covers 1 year period. Out of 1000 lymph nodes, 107 had abscesses and were further analysed microbiologically. In 288 blood serum samples, anti Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis antibodies were investigated by slide agglutination, tube agglutination and agar-jel immunodiffusion assays
