In 118 soils from Western Anatolia the concentration of Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu soluble in ammonazetate was determined. Based on the results of analysis, correlations between micronutrient contents of the soil and soil characteristics (pH, percentage of CaCO3, sand, clay and silt) were calculated. The mean value of soluble zinc was negative correlated to pH-value, CaCO3 and clay content of the soils. A positive correlation existed between zinc concentration and percentage of sand in the soil. The same was true for Mn
