[The up-to-date approaches to constructing bacterial vaccines]

The classification of existing bacterial vaccines in the field of veterinary medicine is outlined. Various trends for producing the immunising preparations against bacterial infections are analysed. Further improvement of drugs for specific prophylactic of bacterial diseases is stated to be one of the important tasks of the modern veterinary science. New scientific principles and directions of producing biopreparations as well as the knowledge of pathogen's biology and its role in pathogenesis should be taken into consideration while constructing new vaccines
