Lactobacillus and bifidobacteria cultures are revealed to possess a high acid-producing effect and growth energy as well as antibacterial, adhesive and immunomodulating properties. They have been used for producing the combined probiotic IECVM. The preparation is proved to have high prophylatic and treating effectiveness in case of the neonatal diarrhoea of the calves
