Changes in additive and dominant variance in high oil maize populations (Zea mays L.)
1999
Rosulj, M.
In this paper changes in oil content, grain yield, percent of root and stalk lodging and grain yield components during long term mass selection for increased oil content were investigated. The following statistical and genetic parameters were observed: mean values, frequency distribution, analysis of variance, components of genetic variances, heritability, correlation analysis and genetic gain from selection. Two high oil maize populations, DS7 and YuSSSu were analysed.
