Genetic resources of game [Yugoslavia]

The aim of paper was to point our on permanent loosing of biodiversity and necessity for protection of wild animals. The present condition requests a study on possibility for preserving a numerous imperilled species as well as a species that will be imperil. Possible ways to do this are linked with acts applied in the domestic animals but specific traits of wild species request up-to-dating of new alternative methods. For preserving of game two different methods are available: ex situ and in situ. Every of these two methods has own advantages. From this point of view the best result will be obtain in the combination of the both methods. The paper also was pointed out the elements of organising of preservation. Programmes should be clear defined and establish on the national level with emphasis on up-to-dating of reproductive technology. On the basis of obtained results, proposals for future work are discussed.
