The problem of the change in the quality of subterranean waters, downstream of aluminium industry has been present for more than two decades. In spite of that fact, by efforts made in detecting the pollution microlocations, the penetration of alkali waters has been occupying more 9nd more space. An analysis of the most-widely present components of boxite, hydrated alumina, red mud and their contents in suspended material and waters has been presented in this paper. Due to their different chemical nature and from appearance in the function of pH value and technological processes in the course of time (at constructing the Aluminium Combine - Podgorica, Montenegro (Yugoslavia), in the course of building and during 1992 and space as well, we May suppose that the pollution microlocations are connected, above all, with some technological entirety in the Aluminium Combine. Of course, red mud waste, as a regular accompanying component of the glumina production additionally, affects puffering capacity of waters, downstream of it, depending on the subterranean waters direction. The aim of the paper is to initiate the goaled multidisciplinary research works, by which our hypothesis may be confirmed or eliminated, more important the problem will be defined and solved the moment the conditions are achieved.
