This paper is dealing with comparative analyses of 4 methods used for the detection of residual quantities of antibiotics in raw milk. It was found that the detailed data on the quantity and sorts of present antibitics could be obtained by means of HPLC method. The other three investigated methods (microbial "screening", Gallesloot's method , and Delvo SP test) for the rapid control of residual quantities of beta lactamic preparation presence, proved to be efficient enough. This finding is very important for the producers and manufactures of raw milk, as by the application of these methods, reference data could be obtained relatively fast. Results presented in this paper are only the part of extensive investigations that are still under way.
