[The morpho-physiological characteristics of leaves in some olive varieties (Olea europea L.)]

Are experimented ten olive varieties (three Albanian origin and seven Italian origin). The data of study shows that the leave's forms and dimensions are different for every varieties. It means that it is one stable phenotypic parameter of variety. The correlative analysis between the differences of the leaf area and somatic number shows there is a weak correlative coefficient. The varieties with weak growth and good stable of water lack have the smaller number of stoma for unit area. Stomatic number trait to unit area can be used as "input" to olive breeding methods.
