1997
Thomaj, F. (Universiteti Bujqesor, Tirane (Albania)) | Nelaj, J.
The study was carried out in two orange cultivars (Taroko, Valencia) and in two of mandarines (Clementina, Satsuma). Each cultivar was grafted with the two more spread rootstocks, wild orange and Trifolium. The results showed the rootstocks influenced the two orange cultivars both in the number of stomes per surface unit and in leaf area and in "K" index. The indicators is different in different cultivars, and also within the same cultivar, grafted into different rootstocks. Its determination enables leaf area measurement in the field without removing the leaf from plant. The best results obtained for mandarine cultivars were those of wild orange grafts.
