unknown. Humigenous qualities of some perennial crops were evaluated selected and applied in alluvial soils, of low humus content. The stdied crops were alfalfa, trifolium and Dactylis glomerata and the coassociations Medicago sativa-Dactylis glomerata and Trifolium-Dactylis glomerata. The applied agrofound is 200 kv/ha organic fertilizer +N80P100K60. The determination of root biomass is done following Pankova method. The improving effect of plants, through their humus contribution which is ensured by root biomass decomposition after uprooting, attains maximal value in the case of trifolium and Dactylis glomerata (1,25 T/ha of humus). The positive maximal effect in the content of humus has been noted in the plant coassociation of Trifolium repens with Dactylis glomerata.
