Following our first joint paper, many collegues have send us their data and specimen to be identified. We took this opportunity to complete our research and to update the geographical distribution of both Leptidea reali and Leptidea sinapis, especially in France, Belgium and the NE of Spain, but also in other areas. Since 1996, several publications on the same subject have been issued and we have tried to complete the bibliography in fine. It seems obvious that the male genitalia, especially in L. reali, vary geographically. Electrophoretic analyses have confirmed the specific rank of Leptidea reali.
