Effect of beta carotene (Rovimix beta carotene 10% Hoffman La Roche) was studied on superovulation response (number of corpora lutea and embryos - total, good, degenerated) at 51 donor Holstein-Friesian cows.It was found that plasma carotene level depended on carotene level in the ration and the additive of Rovimix.The higest was plasma carotene level with additive of 6 gRovimix and the lowest without that additive.The most good embryos were found for cows that have received 6 g Rovimix, followed by cows with 3 g Rovimix.
