[Biodiversity of the Danube biosphere reserve (phytoplankton and microphytobenthos)]

For the first time the investigations of phytoplankton and microphytobenthos of the Stentsovsko-Jebrijanovsky marshland that are the part of Danube biosphere reserve were realized. There were discovered 409 species of algae from Cyanophyta, Euglenophyta, Dinophyta, Cryptophyta, Chrysophyta, Baciloariophyta, Xanthophyta, Chlorophyta (plankton - 315, microphytobentos - 246 species). Bacillariophyta, Cyanophyta and Chlorophyta dominated. There were discovered some species of algae unusual for the Danube region and the Ukraine on the whole. Saprobiology analysis was performed, b-mesosaprobien algae dominated. Phytoplankton and microphytobenthos complexes were established based on quantity and quality analyses of algae. The inventory of the algae general quantity in Danube and in the Ukraine sector of it was performed basing on own and literature data
