Privatisation in Agrarian Sector and its Social-Economical Results

Agricultural production must meet the needs of the market. The priority should be given to the development of such branches which willgive the market demanded products. The quantities and the type of products should be priorly determined. Is is clear that the market in any country is formed by the integration of import and export. From this point of view the results of land privatisation in one of Georgian regions Senaki are analysed. The detailed figures of plant and live stock production in 1998-99 are given. The general figures of food and food industry branches production output for the year 2000 with inclusion of VAT and acsize tax are presented.
