Situation and development of animal husbandry in Hungary
1999
Dobos, K.
Lack in capital is not the foremost cause of the significant decrease in both livestock and animal production in Hungary. The lack of conception in the course of compensation, and the non-consideration of the interests of both the nation and the country's agriculture in the course of privatisation, which have taken place after the systemic change, are the main reasons. Livestock density was low a priori, and dropped to a tragically low level by 1997.
