[Advantage of data complement of the Landsat-TM and ERS-1 SAR for land cover study]

English. The Landsat-TM satellite images cover Indonesian region that most of it has high cloud cover, due to it many images cannot optimally be used. The complement of Landsat-TM and Radar images is one of the alternatives's to eliminate clouds cover effect on Landsat-TM image. The IHS (Intensity, Hue, Saturation) transformation technique have been applied for combining both satellites data to produce unobstructed clouds colour IHS composit images. Based on analysis could be provided that combination of TM/TM/SAR is one of solutions for land cover studies. In this paper was discussed about research for land cover in DKI Jakarta. Show more [+] Less [-]unknown. Citra satelit Landsat-TM yang meliput wilayah Indonesia sebagian besar mempunyai liputan awan tinggi, akibatnya banyak citra tidak dapat digunakan secara optimal. Penggabungan citra Landsat-TM dengan citra Radar merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengeliminasi pengaruh liputan awan pada citra Landsat-TM. Teknik transformasi IHS (Intensitas, Hue, Saturasi) yang diterapkan pada penggabungan kedua data satelit untuk menghasilkan citra warna komposit IHS bebas awan. Berdasarkan analisis dapat ditunjukkan bahwa kombinasi TM/TM/SAR merupakan salah satu solusi untuk studi liputan lahan. Pada makalah ini dibahas hasil kajian liputan lahan daerah DKI Jakarta. Kelebihan citra komposit IHS daripada citra Landsat-TM saja dapat memperjelas batas-batas liputan lahan dan dapat mengeliminasi liputan awan
