The research deals with crossing methods for breeding Brassica napus under laboratory conditions. Investigations were carried out to study the influence of various feeding solutions on rape blossoming and seed ripening. The feeding solutions used in the investigations are defined, their influence is explained. Depending on the composition of the feeding solutions various rape cut inflorescence root systems were obtained. The correlation coefficient of the root number and the lenght of pods was calculated. After crossing pod knotting values of winter and spring rape were obtained.
