Using breeding material of imported poultry crosses such as Hisex White, Hisex Brown, Lohmann Brown, Tetra SL, Shaver 2000, Hybro etc. for the production of eggs and poultry meat it is necessary to change the norms of feedstuff supply. The authors of the report evaluated the poultry feeding norms recommended by different companies during rearing and laying periods (Tables 1 and 2). In comparison with the previous poultry feeding requirements, in the new requirements the content of separate amino acids (lysine and methionine) and calcium is increased in the compound feed (Table 4). The maximum permissible doses of separate feedstuffs and nutrient requirements in the feed ration were taken into consideration in our recommended feeding norms (Table 3). The scientific motivation of such norms is based on a supposition that the poultry feed mainly should be produced from local feedstuffs. Well-balanced poultry feedstuffs are tested for chickens and young poultry, and indicate on an increased body weight mass (Table 5), but for layers - their productivity. The authors also give standard requirements for young poultry body weights of different layers breed crosses.
