Application of Sephadex filtration in the production of viable buffalo spermatozoa

Results of the study showed significant (P0.01) improvement in terms of percent motility, sperm passage, live and normal spermatozoa after passing thru the Sephadex filter, in both the fresh and frozen-thawed semen. Differences among treatment means also shows significant differences (P0.01). The number of motile spermatozoa in a 0.5 ml semen dose was calculated to be 13.75 x 10**6, 16.72 x 10**6 and 18.75 x 10**6 spermatozoa for each treatment, respectively.
