Relationship between some milk production traits in black and white cattle during consecutive lactations

A group of cows of Czech Black Pied breed used for efficiency testing in North Moravia region (Czech Republic) was used for the analyses of correlations bertween indicators of milk efficiency (milk, protein and fat production in kg, percentage of fat and protein). Only cows which complied with the conditions for entry in the man section of the breeding book (H1 - minimal proportion of Holstein blood - 87.5 percent) were analysed. Cows in the 1-5 lactation were used. It can be recommended to make performance analyses including the genetic merit of cows for nowadays population of Czech Black Pied cattle
