Floristic composition of the sward influenced by soil-water conditions

The study concerning the floristic composition of sward and the occurrence of halophytes was conducted on the "Karsiborska Kepa" island, which is under the influence of salt water. The character of the plant communities and the share of halophytes depended on the soil - and water conditions. In moist habitats influenced by salt water, Juncus gerardi, Glaux maritima, Plantago maritima, Pucinella distans were present, whereas in dry conditions Plantago coronopus, Spergularia salina and Lotus teniufolius were found
