The study is continuation in the actualisation of regional classification criterion for the purpose to determine the agricultural problematic areas as one of necessary conditions for regional policy apply aimed to strengthen economical and social cohesion of integrated space and to reduction of regional disproportions. The study is a presentation of existing regulations and notices EU enriched with accepted document Agenda 2000 on Slovak conditions. The study gives actualized classification of agricultural areas on conditions of new administrative arrangement including the impact quantification and negotiation position of Slovakia from the EU criterion apply point of view
