The effect of application of nitrification inhibitor N-Serve and ureaformaldehyde condensates on the migration of inorganic N-forms was tested in laboratory lysimeters in dependence on the soil reaction. Results have confirmed inhibiting effect of N-Serve in Fluvic-eutric Gleysol which persists for 4-5 weeks. Very strong acide Dystric Cambisol have reduced nitrification what made the inhibiting effect of N-Serve practically inefective. Compare to urea, lower level of N-migration was observed after application of slowly acting N-fertilizers. The most significant factor affecting the washing-off of nitrogen forms from the ureaformaldehyde condensates was their activity index
