Study on costs and returns of purebred Holstein Friesian cow raising project in Sakhon Nakhon during 1992-1995 was conducted. The total costs of production in 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995 were 949,455 926,079 933,197 and 876,814 baht, respectively. The returns were 749,316 1,059,724 1,461,604 and 1,708,642 baht, respectively. The net profits were -200,139 133,645 528,407 and 831,828 baht, respectively. The net present value was 847,382 baht while the benefit cost ratio was 1.29 :1.
