Study in order to improve the production and quality of sweet corn, baby corn and glutinous corn was conducted on Pak Chong soil, at National Corn and Sorghum Research Center, Nakhon Ratchasima. The study consisted of 3 trials : 1. Trial on sweet corns hybreds 2. Trial on effect of time of top-dressing with N on baby corn production (Kasetsart 1) and 3. Trial on effect of time of top-dressing with N on production and quality of a glutinous corn (a developed variety from KU program). The result of the first trial showed that INSEE 1 gave the highest yield and quality of ears when the ears were both with and without husk. The result of the second trial showed that time of top-dressing with N had no statistical effect on yield and quality of baby corn, Kasetsart 1; however, top-dressing with N at 10 days after germination should be practice. The result of the third trial showed that time of top-dressing with N had no effect on both yield and quality of the glutinous corn which was developed by KU program; however, there was a trend that top-dressing with N during 21-28 days gave a good result.
