Baby corn (CM 90) was compared for effect to land preparation and water application methods on sandy loam soil in paddy field at Phitsanulok Field Crop Experiment Station during the January to April 1991 dry season. The results revealed that minimum tillage and conventional tillage methods had no significant when compared with no-tillage with rice stubble method. The 1.00 m bed width gave higher std. fresh ear weight than 0.50 bed width. No-tillage with burning rice stubble with water application by flooding methods gave the highest fresh ear weight because of acid soil condition in paddy field.
