Turkish. Twelve common vetch genotypes were grown at 4 locations in 2 years. Genotype x environment interactions were estimated for forage, dry matter and seed yield, thousand seed weight and the number of seed per pod by the variance components method. Genotype x location interactions were found to be significant for all the traits studied whereas a significant genotype x year interaction was found for green matter yield and thousand seed weight. Heritabilities were found at moderate level for forage, dry matter and seed yields and at high level for thousand seed weight and seed number per pod
