Dissemination of cassava bacterial blight (CBB) pathogen (Xanthomonas campestris pv. manihotis, Xcm) was conducted at Kasetsart University, Kamphaengsaen Campus, Nakhon Pathom during rainy months from July to October, 1992. Epiphytic population of Xcm on cassava leaves was not observed in the experiment plot. The disease is spread from inoculated plants to adjacent plants under humid condition. Direction of spreas was closely corresponding with the wind-blown direction. The results demonstrated that wind-blown and humid condition are environmental factors involving for dissemination of CBB.
