Study on diseases assesment of Virginian tobacco diseases epidemiology in early and late wet season

Twelve Virginian tobacco varieties were planted at CFCRC in early and late wet season 1990. These experiment, natural infection, was allowed. All of them gave diseases symptom at 30 days after planting. The major disease which was found in early and late wet season was tobacco leaf curl. The percentage of infected plants in late wet season were greater than in early wet season. The second disease which was observed in both 2 experiments was froggy leaf spot, but it seemed not to affect the quality of tobacco.
