[Biological background of optimizing the vital functions of flies cultures by means of changeable temperatures based on the example of Lepidoptera]

The mechanism of termolability in flies and the role of temperature in changes in the artificial populations' vital activity is analysed. A new principle is formulated of optimizing the populations by means of acting temperatures varied in an optimum range. Special features of their termolability and the temperature regime of separate ontogeny stages in nature are taken into consideration as well
