Proposal for improvement of agricultural engineering university education in Yugoslavia and southeastern Europe

The region of southeastern Europe has good conditions for argicultural production. Unfortunately, caused by different reasons, agricultural production and productivity in Yugoslavia and most of surrounding countries are decreasing. It has been concluded that the regional association of national societies of agricultural engineering of southeastern European countries, acting in framework of CIGR, could become a centre for future reconstruction of agricultural engineering and development of co-operation in the region. The harmonization of curricula is needed and could be realised through co-operation with the universities and other institutions from developed countries.
