[Working conditions and preventive measures in slaughtering industry]

Working conditions on slaughtering industry are characterized by work in wet, damp and cold premises during the whole year, where conditions are increasingly bad in winter. The aim of the paper is to present working conditions in slaughtering industry, particularly emphasizing microbiological noxae. In the paper are used reports on measurements of physical, chemical and biological noxae in premises in some slaughter-houses. Interpretation of results is proceeded according to valid regulations and standards. Preventive measures in work process should encompass technically-technological, personal, medical and other preventive measures carrying out by multidisciplinary expert teams.
