[Influence of urea on the iodine number of fats and oils]

By activity of the urea solution in methanol on the mixtures of fatty acids, alcohols, methylesters... urea complexes are bilt which are precipitated into the sediment in such way that a.m. components separate themselves on the base of hydrocarbon chain length, degree of branching and unsaturation. The investigations were carried out using distilled fatty acids of coconut and lard in 1:1 ratio.
