A field trial was carried out within 1990-1991 at the Complex Experimental Station, Lom for estimating the impact of two soil cultivation techniques: with turning over the plough layer and with scarifying, but without turning over the plough layer, and of three fertilizing levels with increasing NPK norms: fertilizing norms by 25% lower than the optimum, optimum fertilizing norms and fertlizing norms by 25% higher than the optimum. At the variant where the plough layer was turned over the percentage of the infected plants was lower in comparison to variant with scarifying, but wuthout turning over the plough layer. With the change of the fertilizing norms, the number of infected plants also changes: the increase of the imported mineral fertilizers' quantity results in the increase of the infected plants' number.
