Vrchlabsky, J. (Vyzkumny Ustav pro Chov Skotu, Rapotin (Czech Republic)) | Bartak, P.
A combination of hydrochloric acid and sulphur dioxide, pH 2.7+/-0.5, reliably killed non-sporogenic bacteria and Aujezsky disease and swine fever viruses and fully inhibited growth of sporogenic bacteria. The safe product showing high digestibility coefficients (95 % for nitrogenous substances) is recommended as a valuable feed for pigs.
