Monitoring of air pollution effects on the agricultural production in Czech Republic
2000
Ustak, S. | Honzik, R. (Vyzkumny Ustav Rostlinne Vyroby, Prague-Ruzyne (Czech Republic))
In the last time the significance of sulphur dioxide as indicator parameter of immission effects on the crop production was reduced after widely desulphurization of the Czech industry, and therefore the significance of another parameters (surface ozone, dry and wet deposition of risk substances, organic pollution, heavy metals, etc.) was increased. Unfortunately, the data from investigation of atmospheric deposition and plants-bioindicators are not complete for determination of legislative limits and it is necessary to continue its monitoring. The results of immissions monitoring of RICP are used for scientific and research purposes, claiming compensation for damages caused to agriculture production by industrial emissions, data preparation for juridical proceeding, assessment of environmental risk of atmosferic pollution and s.o.
