A vaccine against rabbit haemorrhagic disease was prepared of inactivated infected rabbits' suspension. ELISA antibody titres of the rabbits treated with the undiluted antigen were detectable from 1st week, rose up to 4th week, and remained unchanged thereafter. Rabbits treated with fivefold diluted antigen developed lower antibody titres which faded out after one week in one and after two weeks in another of the eight vaccinates. Although antibody titres were lower than in the rabbits treated with the undiluted antigen, the vaccinates showed a protective level of immunity. Dermojets allow lower dosage and prevent the transmission of infection by repeatedly used needles.
