Non-feed production characteristics of stubble catch crops

Some non-feed production characteristics of stubble catch crops (winter rape, hybrid turnip rape, white mustard, feed radish, tansy phacellia) are evaluated under the conditions of no irrigation in lowland region of Slovakia. From the extra-productional standpoint both the quantity and the quality of biomass, uptake of nitrogen by catch crops, weeding effect on the soil and content of NO3-N in the soil profile were evaluated.
