The productivity of two meadow communities after the lack of phosphorus fertilisation
2000
Kasperczyk, M. | Szewczyk, W.
Studies were carried out in the mountain region of Poland. The aim of the present studies was to determine the lack of phosphorus fertilizing on the productivity of two meadow communities: orchArd grass and tall oat grass. Experiments were located on the poor mineral soil, in which the phosphorus content after 16 years of systematic fertilization increased from 1.8 to 16.8 and 17.2 mg P/100g of soil. When the phosphorus fertilizing was avoided the decrease in crude protein production was observed.
