The effect of phytase enzyme in the feeding of layers

In the layer feed of the Bovans Brown layer hybrid, the authors decreased the total P-content of 0.7% to 0.55 at first preparation and 0.45% at the other.Its Ca content was also decreased from 3.62% to 3.4 at the first preparation, and 3.32% at the other, due to the dosage of phytase Novo CT enzyme preparation at the level of 200, respectively 300 FTU/kg.They examined the egg production, egg weight, feed conversion, weight of the egg shell, selicity its thickness, its Ca and P content.Periodically the P content of the faeces was also determined.At the end of the 12 month experiment, the P-content of the tibia was also analysed.The apparent digestibility of the dry matter, crude protein and crude fat in the control and experimental layer feed was determined in a metabolic experiment.
