The effect of the boar for vitality of the offsprings

The authors examined the Hungarian Large White boars in the view of transmitting vitality to offsprings in the Keszthely stock farm.Boars'progenies of groups constitued the base of analysis.The losses and deaths are shown in each age group and in the summing up, too.They worked figures up with statistical methods.As a result of counting, researchers determined the confidencialimits in offspring-groups and consequently the ratio of worsening and improving boars.Examination was necessery because the collected data in the stock suggested significant paternal effect on piglets'vitality.Gaps in this field, shown in the literature, also indicated to carry out analysis.
