[Fluctuation of soil temperature caused by tillage and mulches application in Entisols]

The research was conducted on Entisol in Ngadirekso, Poncokusumo, South Malang. The experiment was designed in split plot design with a tillage (P) and untillage (T) as main plot and mulch dosage as subplots, with three replicates. The mulch corn dosage consisted of: 0 = without mulch, 4 = 4 ton/ha, 8 = 8 ton/ha and 12 = 12 ton/ha. Results showed that tillage and dosage of mulch significant in decreasing of fluctuate temperature in top soil, dry weight of corn, but not significant on dry weight of plant
